inspiration

My favorite blogs:

This Time Tomorrow- This is probably the first fashion blog i really go into. I LOVE Krystal's style, shes so cute and her style seems extremely affordable.

Sea of Shoes- Okay this one is the total opposite of This Time. She has ridiculous amounts of couture and vintage and expensive clothing. I don't know what kind of job she has but I want it.

Adored Austin- Indiana is so cute! Her style is really surprising, one day shes wearing jeans and a shirt and the next day this gorgeous pink poofy dress. This might be my favorite blog because she seems so down to earth and tell us about her life. When she posted videos about her dog that they were putting down, I cried like a baby.

PostSecret- I don't remember how I discovered it, but it makes me happy and sad. The ones full of love make me happy. The hateful ones make me sad.

tacos

My earliest memory:

I remember, i was about 4 or 5 sitting in the back seat of my van, in my orange spiral t-shirt and my black leggings, because it was the 90's and thats what we wore.I asked my mom when my birthday was, because I really had no clue. She answered, and then we went to Taco Bell. The Taco Bell in Round Rock was good, and i would always get hot cheese nachos. I was sitting there and somehow the cheese tipped over and spilled all over my legs. It was hot cheese, and it burnt my legs so bad. I started bawling like crazy in the middle of Taco Bell. My mom took off my leggings and got the cheese cleaned up. And then i sat there, 4 years old in my underwear and orange spiral t-shirt, with red burnt legs, eating what was left of my nachos.

sweet and wild

Put your iPod on shuffle and write down ten songs that pop up:

1. Sweet and Wild- Dierks Bentley
i got my best friend his best hits CD for her birthday freshman year

2.Death and All of His Friends- Coldplay
The greatest gift my mother gave me is her love of music- she would listen to Coldplay, Rascal Flats, Dixie Chicks and Collective Soul in the car

3.Send It on- Disney Channel people
i'm not ashamed. it's a good song. hahaha

4.Empire State of Mind- Jay-Z
This came out October of 2009, a month before we went to New York. It was definitely my anthem for a while there.

5.She Wolf- Shakira
I love Shakira. and i was making a CD for the lockeroom for morning cross country showers and i thought it was perfect.

6.42-Coldplay
I have alot of Coldplay....

7.How He Loves- David Crowder Band
I only listen to a couple of Chirstian bands but I really like him.

8.The Way I Am- Ingrid Michaelson
I first heard this song on an Old Navy sweater commercial, where she sings "if you are chilly...here take my sweater...because I love the way you call me baby...and you take me the way i am"

9.Breakin' Dishes- Rihanna
I love Rihanna. I kind of want to be her. My best friend introduced me to this song, she did a hip-hop dance with her troupe like 4 years ago to it.

10. It Just Comes Natural- George Strait
This song never gets old. It's lyrics are so simple but most of the time I usually cry when i listen to it. It reminds me of my goddaughter, because I know God brought us together for a reason, and I love her so much- "it just comes natural"

crazy heart

A week before Thanksgiving we went to my cousins wedding in Boerne and i LOVE being with my dad's side of the family, i have 6 aunts and they all have kids, my best friends are my cousins. Anyways, my aunt started crying when my cousin and his new wife were dancing and we all were talking about how in ten years it might not be like this, all of us together. In that moment my heart just felt so full, and i felt so loved. I realized just how beautiful everything in my life was. My family, my friends, the place I go to school, where i live. Freshman year was really hard for me, and then transferring schools was really hard to but I was so happy I had come to this point in junior year, where I had made my school my home and had settled into my life and a body and a place i finally felt like myself
